1) Her emotional repertoire is severely limited. Passion is a no-go, depth of feeling needs to be very very shallow. She's damaged.
2) No angst. Bad stuff happened, it made her who she is, she accepts and moves on. She's not actually capable of dwelling on it. The damage was done too early, and there is too much of it.
3) She wants to understand people, even if she does not always want to apply that understanding to herself and how she moves through the world.
4) She is not ashamed of her talents.
5) She knows exactly who she has chosen to be. Down to the letter.

2) His love is inherently childish. And by this I don't mean shallow, I mean the super-intense all-in kind of love a little kid gives. Where if you reject it, it really is a crushing blow.

5) Every conversation is an information-gathering gambit. 1) Nynaeve has zero patience for other people unless they are doing exactly what she tells them, right after she tells them to do it. It is hard for her to respect such people, though.
2) She is a secret romantic at heart.
3) She is actually young.
4) She wants to punch every Aes Sedai in the face. Including Egwene.
5) She genuinely cares about almost everyone she has ever met, even the wool-brained idiots that can't keep a thought in their head for two minutes running. Yes, even Mat Cauthon. YES even Moiraine, if you really press her SHUT UP.

1) Anna is an Alpha who doesn't think about herself that way. She has to be in charge -- of herself, at least, if no one else. She is also likely constantly maneuvering both consciously and unconsciously to be in control of more than herself.
2) She used to be a vegetarian and a poet, and hates being a vampire.
3) Daniel is her heterosexual lifemate.
4) She is always armed, usually with a multiplicity of weapons. For Anna, overkill happens to other people.

1) Modern policing is Sam's watchword. HE LOVES FACTS. Hard evidence. Yes.
2) He trusts his gut instincts when he gets them. Other people's gut instincts, not so much.
3) He genuinely likes the 70s, even though he is convinced it is not real. Except when he forgets.
4) He's at his best when he's questioning witnesses that require a bit of delicate handling. He's good at being kind and thorough at once.
5) By end-of-canon-etc, Gene Hunt is going to be his friend.
