1. I have never been outside of the United States--barely over the border into Canada for a half a day does not, to me, count.
2. I used to speak French fluently. It was crazy.
3. I had precocious puberty as a kid. It made growing up about as awkward as I could imagine it being for a 'normal' kid.
4. My brother used to be a really violent little kid. We had a slapping match in the garage once, and we both ended up crying, and after that he settled down. I don't get it either.
5. I started watching my brother when I was about 12. I was responsible for feeding him, keeping him amused, making him do his homework, knowing who he was hanging with and where he was going, and okaying his outings with other people and their parents. There are reasons he calls me his second mom sometimes.
6. My grandfather did not have diabetes. He took lots of meds, but even my mom does not know what they were for.
7. I love trashy romance novels and over the top hurt/comfort, though not when it is packaged as something else. Then I just get annoyed.
8. I crave respect and recognition from my peers, and I also irritate the hell out of myself about that.
9. I am absolutely insanely terrified of falling, hurting my knees, and doing flips.
10. When I was little I was convinced I got headaches on days when I didn't read anything.

Also, if you want. Tag in here and I will tell you something nice about you. If I don't know you very well, wholesale invention is the order of the day.
