Xas likes wine because it is earthy, and he can feel himself connected to this transient world in which he's found himself.

Some nights, when he is staring out at the world and not sleeping--he wishes he had never left his garden.

Dean likes women. He thinks they are awesome, and not just for sleeping with. They confuse him, too, because he has trouble relating to them as competent people, he keeps putting his foot wrong. *sigh*

Dean took care of Sam a lot as a kid, even when he was small. John just didn't have the time or energy, even though he loved him, and Dean picked up the slack. He would have done the same thing if Mary hadn't died. You know, been the annoying kid to try changing his brother's diaper while Mom is making dinner, instead of being sensible and going to get her. And trying to use the stove before he's allowed, because Sam is hungry and Mom is doing laundry, or is smooching (ew) with Dad. You know? That Kid.

Dean plays music in the Impala all the time because if he doesn't, he ends up humming the chorus to Mmmbop. God help him.
