Today is a day in which . . . things happened

Had a meeting with a guy who is entirely unrelated to me vis a vis work and supervisory positions, and he had no giant corrections, mostly just suggestions as to where I need to be ready to defend my choices. Helpful. Uber-helpful. I even have a couple new endnote files, so yay!

Group meeting will be long and long and long, and I still have to fix part of my paper to incorporate terpolymers vs anionic polymers, but that will take . . . a half hour max once I have the conditions?

Then I can SEND IT to bossman and wait for commentary, etc.

*curls up*

Bleh. One day this will all be over. Really.

Iiiiii remember the first time you pinged me. I was so excited because I loved Raven (as did Susan and Ingress).

Then I remember that incredible Tonks rescue thread, talking with you while you were threading, and then having my breath taken away when I read that glorious "defeating Dementors" tag.

And one of my very favorite memories: I remember walking into Aspen's house after driving through the snow to get there and giving you a great, big hug. :)
