I would totally do this meme, guys.

When we role play, we tend to pick up a variety of characters. They could be ones that we like, ones that we want to experiment with, or ones that we just end up making from scratch. Eventually, we come to associate with ( some of ) them in one way or another. Out of all the characters ( past or present ) I role play, pick out the one I am most like and tell me why you think so.

Except I'm pretty sure you'd all answer Raven.

So I'm gonna just assume, mkay?

Okay, okay, I lied.

I'm totally doing this meme.

Raven [livejournal.com profile] creator_raven
Nynaeve al'Meara [livejournal.com profile] not_only_wisdom
Xas [livejournal.com profile] shall_go_free
Aslan [livejournal.com profile] treading_dawn
Dean Winchester [livejournal.com profile] hopeitsworthit
Jordan Black [livejournal.com profile] second_sighted
Destiny [livejournal.com profile] book_bound
Art Blastside [livejournal.com profile] ars_piratica
Door [livejournal.com profile] iopenthings
Galadan [livejournal.com profile] wolflord_andain

OCs
Anna Logres [livejournal.com profile] sky_from_sea
Tam (from the Nightbane game)

Past characters:

Avar s'Ffalenn [livejournal.com profile] karthan_pirate
Hunter [livejournal.com profile] caramel_colored
Serpentine [livejournal.com profile] sister_serpent

Erin Fray [livejournal.com profile] copper_fray

And--I think that's it.

Yep.

Hmmm ... GALADAN.

No, okay. I almost feel like you're ... well, a lot like Anna? Mainly in that at first you can seem reserved abd polite, but really you have a wicked sense of humor and make your friends TWITCH IN PAIN a lot. I remember when I first met you I thought you were so sane ...

Iiii think you are very much like Door and Nynaeve. Strong, smart, willing to do whatever is necessary for the people you care about, all the while still growing into yourself and your confidence.

But you have the playfulness and quirkiness of Raven. :)

Totally Destiny.

*lies*

Um. I am going to say . . . kind of a Door-Anna conglomerate? Anna because of what Merc said - initial reserve and an awesome incising sense of humor and kind of this inner life thing - and Door because, unlike Anna, the inner life involves not agonies of vampireness, but in fact a wicked cool and tragically punny secret underground fantasyworld thing! Metaphorically. *vague handwave*

And because things haven't been easy either way, but you still come out of it awesome.

Puns are easily inserted! *helpful*

If I'd known I was pushing the favorites, I would have had to stick to Destiny. :O

I do not know these Wasteland characters.

That said, Becca's analysis looks like it makes a lot of sense, so I'll just boringly defer to her. (I know, that's cheating.)

My vote is Dean.

Because of general badassery, copious amounts of knowledge, good taste in media, and generally-known affection for your little brother. :D

Yes. And you also have to have bitchin' aim with a shotgun full of rock salt.

Definitely Anna.

Probably you're less inclined to pin people's hands to bartops, but. Reserve and wacky humor and badassery when need be, plus writing.

*giggles* I may have to change my vote to a crazy combination of Anna, Nynaevae, and Raven, then.

I also think Anna and Door.

Becca stole my reasons. D: Because she's evil.

But, I do think Anna and Door. I can see bits of yourself in Anna, and the real strength in Door.

Did I mention Becca stole my answers?

Hey, look at me being lazy.

I am getting Nynaeve. Because of what [livejournal.com profile] vivien529 said.

...okay, I was being lazy when I wasn't logged into this journal, but then I refreshed when I WAS logged into this journal, so I wasn't being lazy, except that I was because I didn't delete the first sentence.

I piiiick... Nynaeve, Anna, and Art, from what I've seen.

Nynaeve for that bit of 'WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING? I should box all of your ears. And then come up with a practical solution and save the world' thing you have going.

Anna for some of her social tendancies, both good and... I won't say 'bad', but not always the healthiest for her, I'll say. But also because I think you could survive the zombie apocalypse and maybe like, be an awesome chemist and synthesize fake blood for all vampires!

Art because of adventure and 'poetry in your soul', as cheesy as that sounds. It's true!

I actually don't think you're much like Raven at all, despite sharing some of his speech patterns, and maybe the sense of humor.

From: [identity profile] in-the-blue.livejournal.com

Well, I'd pick Door. I don't know them all, but Door is both logical and illogical, but protective and good-hearted and just a wee bit insecure. She's also playful, though, and serious when she wants to be.

From: [identity profile] knights-say-nih.livejournal.com

Yes, you will always be Raven in my head. Not when he's being all BURNY but when he's there with the marmite and the sugar cookies.

Selectively Raven.

Possibly because other than Tam, I have not really REALLY played with many of your others.

I associate you a lot with Raven, but I do not think you are actually much like him. (The sanity helps, perhaps, I am thinking.)

I second Jo's assessment of why you are like Nynaeve. You have a much better sense of where you are in your life, though, and also of social cues and self-examination. ...Maybe Erin, then, really. For the "WHAT ARE YOU DOING I am going to take over now and be competant even if it's against orders" aspect without the braid-yanking. And then the curling up on couches in sock feet later.

So, Erin, but I'm not sure which of yours has the right sense of silly humor. Maybe I will have to mix in Raven for that, after all.
