1) Yeah. I think it was after we'd been chatting for a while, and one of those "...I don't have you friended. Why do I not have you friended?" realizations I have periodically.
2) ...Hunh. I do not know that one. But, in looking at the lyrics, I like it.

6) mm. I would say that I write to tell stories.

They're tied up together, of course; the reason I tell a story is that I think for one reason or another it should be told, and is worth the effort of telling. And often part of what I write is spurred at least a little by contrariness -- I see this done wrong, or I never see this done, or whatever -- so there's that, too.

But the story should stand on its own, and the characters shouldn't necessarily think what I think. And... honestly, when I look at a story, when I approach one to tell something, what I tell is often a question.
