My proposal topic is chosen and DONE.
Now I must only add a few main references to the one-page thinger, and I am GOOD TO GO.
OMFG.
The relief I feel is enormous.
This, uh, is most likely due to the fact that last semester, at Consortium, my boss was at my table telling the story of a very good scientist in his group who had left the program because she could not think of an original topic for her proposal.
Dear god.
And, even if my current topic is not entirely workable (which all signs indicate it is, but--), I have bought myself time to find something BETTER.
