So today proceeds apace.

I am looking forward to this evening, because the 'rents will be out bowling, and I will have the house to myself.

Also, re: sleeping--I swear I will go to bed (and here's the kicker) FALL ASLEEP at a reasonable hour tonight.

Fucking heartburn.

That is all.

*shares ranitid- ranito- THING. THAT IS ZANTAC. I SHARE*

I had wretched heartburn the last 2 days or so and had to go out and buy some last night. My body THANKS ME TODAY.

*hugs*

I know I'm sure I've asked you this before, but my brain = swiss -- have you tried OTC stuff?

I did wonder. *comforts lots and settles at computer to keep you company and help you stay awake*

Shall I juggle geese?

I use ranitidine, and that's basically generic Zantac. I find it really helpful for heartburn and acid reflux, as well as general icky belly type feeling stuff. There's also Prilosec type stuff, which is more expensive and takes longer, and works in a different way than the Ranitidine that Selkie could probably explain to you but I can not. And, of course, there's always Tums. But I swear by Ranitidine -- it usually comes in 75mg tablets, when it's bad I take 2 or 3, though.

Aspen: *juggles!*

Geese: *take exception to this, and fly away*

Aspen: *stares forlornly into the empty blue sky* ... well, that could have gone better.

But huzzah for some sleep, pumpkin spice lattes, and productivity! Even MORE so that work is going so nicely. YAY!

Indeed. I take Ranitidine, and so does Heater, and that's what Bing's doctor prescribed for her, too. So it's worth a try, at least, before shelling out the $$ for a doctor?

*looks nervously out the window at the small gathering of the cousins in the trees across the street*

... um, maybe not?

*is distracted by tacklehug* OOF. Hi. :)

I'm doing all right! I have tea, winter white Earl Grey - want some?

I'm also outlining three papers. It goes not-badly.

Well, they haven't yet! Although it was mighty disconcerting to have several of them take flight from a tree and arrow over my head when I was walking through the nearby park, just as "Dark and Lonely Man" came on the psiPod, I'll tell you that.

No tea in the office? Oh no! *shoves some through the internets, posthaste*

Par for the course indeed.

*clings to soundtrack CD* I cannot tell you how happy that CD makes me. I love it lots. :) It's just such a perfect telling of the story in itself!

No tea AND no cocoa? AGH. This is horrific!

(Inner!Susan would bake cookies right about now, you know.)

Clearly it is fate! Destiny. Ka, some might say -- like a wind, even.

*dodges snowballs, cheerfully*

(Still! Yes. And Inner!Susan would laugh, and make a new batch just for him, properly-browned.)

Pumpkin Spice Lattes are wonderful. So are the Maple Machiattos. *shifty*

Gah. Heartburn. I used to deal with that all the time, to the point where I avoided anything with tomatoes, and anything with citrus. What finally helped cut it down to a once-in-a-blue-moon thing was changing my diet to vegan. (Now, the few times I do get it? Are when I've cheated on said diet.) Changing what you eat for today and tommorrow may cut this attack down- as well as drinking lots of water.

And putting lots of pillows together so you're sleeping half-sitting up helps too. *wry*

*snugz*

Now I have that song in my head. Drat you. *hums* Zettai unmei mokushiroku...

("Why" I might be able to help with, if needed. *eyes Moiraine's relationship with the Eldest Brother and with Raven thoughtfully*)

(Inner!Susan: *hugs back, beaming*)

It is absolutely and entirely your fault! *throws rosepetals, or something*

(Yes. Nebulous beginning stage sort of thing, but possibilities are beginning to tick over. Also making crap up is useful!)

Rosepetals: *swirl upward in burst of light and wind*

Aspen: *stares, shrugs, and settles down comfortably*

That's that, then.

(*does same, content*)
