Three factors are working against me: 1). I am a sheep, 2). I am at work and horribly bored and not wanting to write my monthly report, and 3). I am insanely curious and already wonder what sorts of questions people might want to ask.

So.

Ask me a question about anything--fandom, real life, music, vegetables, etc--and I will answer you and then ask YOU a question. The whole process could be repeated if anyone wants to keep it up. If this works, by the end we could know each other so well we're sick of each other and have to quit one another for a while.

Andddddddd, I forgot a question!

What sort of dictatorship would you have if you were the one ruler of the world?

I would have a Supreme kind of dictatorship, the one with all the ingredients.

Also I would have an army of supersoldiers poised to utterly destroy anyone who stood against me.

But I would be all about protecting the kittens and puppies, even as the people of the world starved.

If you had an internal soundtrack, what kinds of music would you put on it?

It's mostly showtunes, but dancey pop songs that I hear that day wander into the playlist after a long class. Mostly, I have an eternal loop of "Dance Magic, Dance!" in my head, and when you wander the halls of any theatre department humming that tune, theatre students appear out of the woodwork and start grooving along with you and singing backup.

What is the most spontaneous thing that you have ever done?

I'm tempted to say joining Milliways, really.

But I don't think that's accurate. Hmm.

I tend to be a little too timid to really do anything spontaneous, anything worth calling spontaneous, at least.

Ummmmmmm . . . maybe kinda going to DC to visit Rami and Selkie and Lynette, though that was more daring than spontaneous. Eh. I will call it close enough.

If you could go anywhere, and stay as long as you like, where would you go and when would you come back?

Mmm. I'd go everywhere. Start on the east coast of N. America and work my west. Then Australia, Asia, Eurasia, Africa, Europe. Then, I'd finish in Ireland. I'd settle in or near Dublin or Galway in a small theatre where I would have to fight to keep the lights on and working, we'd never have a big enough budget, and it was like making love every time the curtain opened.

What do you want to do most with your life, in this very moment?

At this very moment? I want to be happy, and I want to have a little cottage somewhere quiet but with decent internet access, and I want to be curled up with a cup of tea and hot muffins and be writing a chapter of my second novel. Or working on the poems for my next book.

Alternatively, I want to be comfortable in my own skin and feel capable and competent in the laboratory with lots of new ideas for research bubbling in my brain.

Are there any songs that are not explicitly sad that make you tear up or feel melancholy?
