Today's disturbing news is that the last two fingers on my left hand won't stop tingling, in that mid-way between them falling asleep and me going 'ow ow pins and needles' kind of way.

Um.

Should I worry, or is it likely a pinched nerve/too much stress?

Either that, or it's turning evil. I don't want an evil hand!

Most likely a pinched nerve or RSS. Which is usually alieved by, well. Resting and not using the computer so much. By the end of the week, I tend to get that.

I agree. It's likely from a pinched nerve, sleeping in an awkward position, etc.
I wouldn't worry unless: it doesn't go away after a day or two, you start feeling short of breath or dizzy, or have pains elsewhere (like your chest, or the tingly spreads up your arm or something).

Then either you're having a stroke, or you're in the final stages of you're metamorphosis into supervillian.

Probably, as others have said, nerve/strain-related, I'd think.

If it spreads up your arm abruptly or is accompanied by other signs like that pain in the chest or sudden and great fatigue -- or a headache, then go be seen at the ER.

Unless you have history of migraine that presents with aura and/or hemiplegically.
